Can someone help with a query about replacing bulbs? :D

I was reading a thread here (https://vodc.co.uk/showthread.php?t=8813) about bulb types. I would like to change the sidelight bulbs but am not sure what type I need. Also I assume the sidelight bulb is the daytime running light :confused:

Are these the correct type and is it easy to change?

The side light bulb is the daytime running light:)

The 501 is the standard also known as a 'capless 5w'

I havent seen under the bonnet of one of these yet.

I may pop down the local car shop to pick some up after the weekend. Shops are closed tomorrow I think, someone's birthday ;)

Halfords do a fitting service. Knowing what a pain it can be replacing bulbs on modern cars that may be worth investigating.

No wrong type of bulb, the Insignia uses a dual filament bulb for the side light / DLR.
The type is in the post by Cam, R580 5/21
